
Teaching: Professor Carlin teaches adult health courses to undergraduate students.
Research: Professor Carlin is interested in clincal research in the areas of patient satisfaction, nurses' work environments and retention issues in nursing.
Service: Professor Carlin holds membership in the Florida Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Clinical practice area of expertise: Professor Carlin has clinical expertise in cardiology, adult and elderly nursing, and nursing of adolescents.
Education: Professor Carlin received her BS in Nursing and her MS in Adult Health Nursing from Indiana University.
