Teaching: Dr. Gregg currently teaches ethics and research utilization at the master’s level, and is developing a web-based professional socialization course at the RN-BSN level of study. In the recent past, Dr. Gregg has taught nursing administration specialty track courses, as well as, Policy, Organization and Finance.
Research: Dr. Gregg has interests in research related to nursing workforce issues.
Service: Dr. Gregg serves as president of the Florida Nurses Association. She is on the Board of Directors for the Florida Center for Nursing where she serves as past chair. She is treasurer of the Florida Nurses Foundation. Dr. Gregg also serves as chairperson of the Finance Committee for SREB-CCEN (Southern Regional Education Board-Council on Collegiate Education for Nursing). She holds membership in Sigma Theta Tau International. Dr. Gregg is the chair of the AACN Organization Leadership Network Steering Committee, and governor-appointed member of the Florida Center for Nursing Board of Directors. In 2000, she was selected as one of the Great 100 Nurses in FNA District II, and in 2002 as Nurse of the Year in FNA District II.
Clinical practice area/expertise: Dr. Gregg’s area of expertise is in nursing administration and health policy.
Education: Professor Gregg received her BSN in Nursing at Armstrong State College. She received her MSN in Adult Nursing/Education at Medical College of Georgia and her DSN in Nursing Administration at the University of Alabama.
