
Teaching: Professor Parker teaches the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner tract of the masters program.
Research: The research area of interest for Professor Parker is breastfeeding the low birth weight infant.
Service: Professor Parker is a member of Florida Nurses Association, National Association of Neonatal Nurses, and Florida Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.
Clinical practice area/expertise: Professor Parker holds certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and practices as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the NICU at Shands at UF.
Education: Professor Parker received her BSN in Nursing and her MSN in Neonatal Nursing at the University of Florida.
