
Teaching: Professor Redman teaches Adult Health to undergraduate students in various clinical settings. She also teaches didactic and clinical courses in the Accelerated Baccalaureate Curriculum. As a faculty liaison within the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Nursing Department, Professor Redman is responsible for teaching clinical courses for University of Florida undergraduate nursing students while promoting the recruitment efforts of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Research: Professor Redman is a Research Study Coordinator with the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Florida where she is responsible for coordinating patient care and executing research protocols in various research studies.
Service: Professor Redman holds membership in Sigma Theta Tau International.
Clinical practice area/expertise: Professor Redman has over 10 years experience as a pediatric critical care nurse. She was an agency nurse for two years in Worcester, MA and worked in a variety of healthcare settings caring for acute and chronically ill adults. She also has expertise in Forensic Nursing, which was a focus of her graduate studies.
Education: Professor Redman received her BSN in Nursing and her MSN in Forensic Nursing at Fitchburg State College.
