College of Nursing

Teaching: Dr. Seymour teaches selected classes in sexuality and health.

Service:  Dr. Seymour has served as chair for the Nursing Formal Review Committee of the CON Faculty Organization.  She holds membership in Sigma Theta Tau International and the Florida Nurses Association.

Clinical practice area/expertise:  Dr. Seymour is a Family Nurse Practitioner and maintains an active faculty practice at the UF/Shands Eastside Community Practice.

Education: Dr. Seymour received her BSN in Nursing at the University of Virginia and her MN in Medical/Surgical Nursing at the University of Florida. She received her PhD in Social Work Administration at Florida State University.
