Accelerated BSN track Admission Criteria
Criteria for admission to the Accelerated Baccalaureate program include the following:
- Completed application with application fee.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a field other than nursing.
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, calculated on the most recent 60 credits taken toward the bachelor’s degree or cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale on masters or doctoral degree.
- Pre-professional prerequisite courses in statistics, anatomy, physiology and microbiology must be completed prior to summer enrollment with a minimum of a C grade. Only one of these courses can be in progress during the spring. These prerequisite courses must be completed within the past seven years.
- Two letters of reference, including one from an academic source.
- Statement of Goals
- Resume/Curriculum Vitae
- A score of 500 or higher on each of the verbal and quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test, including completion of the analytical writing section.
